    Charles,
I have not had any success in locating the web portal announced below.
Yours is the only email address in the email, so I could not find another to
ask. Does such a portal exist?
    All the best,

    RESPONSE FROM THE LISTMASTER:

    Eli,
I received word from an Mg-Ed-Dv-er teaching in a developing nation that
she found the Yahoo course management tools to be a godsend for providing
syllabi and handouts where paper form duplication is relatively pricey.
Eli...go to http://www.yahoo.com/ (the Yahoo home page). There's a main
section in the bottom left quadrant of the page called EDUCATION. Clicking
    there takes you to:

Did you sign up for a yahoo ID? Did you enter it at:
    http://courses.yahoo.com/
At that same place, then, you click on COLLEGE and make a course site. It
is there you should encounter the assignment submission utility.

    Charlie,
I'm sorry to bother you, but just where is the assignment submission
utility in that page. I went to the sites as you directed in your last post
and I can't find the materials.
    Thanks,
    Dick
