    Salisbury University, a member of the University System of Maryland, is a regionally accredited four-year comprehensive institution offering 58 distinct graduate and undergraduate programs. Located on the historic Eastern Shore, SU's beautiful campus is some 30 miles from the Atlantic beaches and 2.5 hours from Baltimore and Washington, D.C.  The Franklin P. Perdue School of Business offers AACSB accredited programs across business disciplines.
    The Department of Management and Marketing at Salisbury University's Franklin P. Perdue School of Business is accepting applications for the position of Assistant Professor of Management.
    Area(s) of Specialization:  Human Resources (HR) and/or Organizational Behavior (OB).
    Primary Job Duties:  Teach courses in Human Resources Management and Organizational Behavior, and possibly interdisciplinary management areas at the undergraduate and MBA level as per the needs of the students and the department while maintaining an active research agenda. The normal teaching load is 9 hours per semester.  Candidates must utilize effective teaching and classroom management strategies which enhance the success of diverse learners.
    Minimum Qualifications:  PhD required in Human Resources or Organizational Behavior or related disciplines. If ABD; would be hired at the rank of Instructor with the requirement that the doctoral degree be completed within one year of hire date.
    Preferred Qualifications: Ph.D degree from an AACSB accredited university. Candidates with a Doctorate from non–AACSB accredited institutions should be able to demonstrate the potential to meet AACSB criteria of being classified as Scholarly Academic/ Academically Qualified (SA/AQ) as per the current definitions of the Perdue School of Business.  Demonstrated ability to publish in peer reviewed management journals. Preference would be given to candidates who have experience in teaching from among the following HR & OB courses (Human Resource Management, Staffing in organizations, Employee Management relations, Compensation, Training and development & Organizational Behavior). Professional experience in Human Resource Management or a related area is also preferred.
