If you're interested in cutting edge management education research...
If you're heading to IOBTC at the University of Winchester next July...
If you have always wanted to visit the Fontainebleau region of France or would like to return there soon...
Then join us for the fourth annual Research in Management Learning and Education (RMLE) Unconference to be held at INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France on July 4-5, 2016. At our RMLE Unconferences, there are no formal presentations, just a series of highly engaged and organically developing discussions about research in management education. I am very pleased to say that, once again, attendees will be interacting with editors and board members of numerous journals including the Academy of Management Learning and Education, the Journal of Management Education, Management Learning, and the Decision Sciences Journal of Management Education. Following three successful iterations of the RMLE Unconference, at Bond University in Australia during 2013, Copenhagen Business School in Denmark during 2014, and run in collaboration with EAM-I in Peru during 2015, we are very excited to return to Europe for our 2016 event.
Registration, dinner on the 4th, and lunch on the 5th are all free for accepted participants thanks to the generous support of the INSEAD Initiative for Learning Innovation and Teaching Excellence (iLITE) team. There are two deadlines for submissions: the early submission deadline is December 7, 2015 and the regular submission deadline is February 1, 2016. See the attached Call for Contributors and the RMLE Unconference website www.rmle.org for information. If you have any Unconference-specific queries, Amy Kenworthy of Bond University and Chair of the organizing committee will be delighted to help. You can contact her directly at akenwort@bond.edu.au
As noted above, if you are traveling, you may also be interested in coupling this event with another conference. The International Organizational Behavior Teaching Conference (IOBTC) is running July 8-9 at the University of Winchester in England, UK and the European Group for Organizational Studies (EGOS) running July 7-9 in Naples, Italy.
Please feel free to pass this email on to others whom you think may have an interest in the Unconference. To participate, you must send in a short statement of your current management learning and education research oriented questions, interests, or concerns (QIC) for review (see Call for Contributors for specific guidelines).
I look forward to seeing as many of you as possible at INSEAD in early July next year.
Cheers, The RMLE Unconference Management Team
