I am looking at HR Mgt texts for undergrad management students and would
really appreciate some recommendations. Is there anything out there that
contains general text to cover essentials as well as some in-depth readings?
I have difficulty requiring students to purchase two texts. I am a lecturer
and not a professor, and don't want to offend academic sensibilities, but my
previous experience with HR texts leads me to secretly want to chuck the
whole textbook idea, present principles and concepts through lecture, and
have students focus on readings instead of a textbook outside of class. Any
advice would be welcome.
