The subject is very worthwhile and the book is better than average.
Two reasons for understanding and mastering memes --
1) insight into one of major the attractors of communities, thus a key
technique for those who would be leaders/managers,
2) insight into one of the major methods of forming cults or being a
charismatic type of leader, thus something you should understand so you can
guard against such behavior.
