My name is Tomaz Amon. On behalf of our workshop committee I would like to
welcome your participation on the workshop for the educational applications
of Web3D in Paderborn 19 Feb 2001 which will be held in conjunction with the
ACM Web3D 2001 Conference. Proposals are accepted until December 31st. For
complete details, please refer to the conference webpage:
    http://www.c-lab.de/web3d2001

The annual Web 3D Symposium is the worldwide most important event for the
Web 3D community. Its purpose is to bring together researchers, developers,
product vendors, content creators and other contributors interested in using
or enhancing VRML and Web 3D technology. The first two days of the
conference feature courses and workshops, the second two days peer-reviewed
    papers and panels.

This workshop aims to provide a forum for creators of web-based
three-dimensional educational software to present their work. Interesting
topics include case studies, implementation techniques, innovative uses or
other questions related to how 3D content helps learning.

Please send extended abstracts or full papers to tomaz.amon@bioanim.com

Accepted papers may be considered for inclusion in a special issue of an
established journal. For example, the papers from the last workshop were
    published in: Future Generation Computer Systems, V 17, N 1 September 2000,
North-Holland press. "Special Issue: Educational Applications of VRML"

On behalf of our workshop committee,
