Call for Nominations
Editor, Journal of Management
The Southern Management Association is seeking nominations for the position
of Editor of the Journal of Management. The deadline for nominations is June
1, 2001. The new editor will work with the current editor, Micki Kacmar,
throughout calendar year 2002 and will assume the position of editor on
January 1, 2003. The term of appointment is three years.
Nomination letters should provide a clear statement of the nominee's
qualifications for the position. Before nominating someone for the position,
please verify that the individual being nominated has a potential interest
in being considered for the position. Self-nominations are also welcome.
Nominees will be informed of additional details about the position and the
requirements regarding institutional support and will be expected to provide
various related materials in support of their nominations. Nominations
