Robert Kegan (Harvard Ed School)and William Torbert (Boston College Business
School) have written on management development from a structural
developmental perspective. Also, Ed Drath has an article or two on this
topic...
I wrote my doctoral project on the relationship of creativity and ego
development in managers, using the Loevinger model/instrument to assess ego
development (Sentence Completion Test). Her work is also useful in this
area.
Hope that helps a bit...

NEW ONLINE GROUP AND SCHOLARSHIPS
A Fall 2000 online group is now forming to participate in the Distance
Education Certificate Program offered by the University of
Wisconsin-Madison. The group will start the program together on October 2
(enrollment deadline is September 8), working as a cohort in completing
online core modules. Four half-tuition scholarships are available to group
participants. The scholarship application deadline is August 18.
In addition to the group Collaborative Online Track starting in October, the
Certificate Program also has an individualized Self-Paced Track for those
who want to enroll at any time and work at their own pace. Offered since
1993, the Certificate Program builds knowledge, skills, and leadership in
distance education through a curriculum of core modules and electives that
use Internet, print, tape, and audioconferencing formats.

Does anybody know of literature describing LD/MD research and/or
>practice using a structural developmental approach after Lawrence
>Kohlberg and/or John Rawls? There are some dissertations on
>executives' justice reasoning and moral development (example:
>Erdynast, 1974), mostly from people who studied with Kohlberg at
>Harvard and some limited work at Jim Rest's center at U Minnesota.
>Is anybody familiar with this work and can direct me to other

Thanks!
