TERRY MCADAM BOOK AWARD
Nonprofit Management Book Nominations for 1999 or 2000.
Sponsored by the New York Community Trust and supported by the Chronicle of
Philanthropy, the annual Terry McAdam Book Award was established by the
Nonprofit Management Association (NMA) in 1989 to commemorate NMA
board member and New York Community Trust Vice President Terry McAdam, who
devoted his life to improving the nonprofit management field, urging people
to write about the sector. Continuing the NMA tradition, the
Alliance each year forms an Award Committee working to identify the most
inspirational and useful new book which makes a substantial contribution to
nonprofit management. The McAdam Award winner will be mailed a
commemorative plaque and a $500 stipend underwritten by the New York
Community Trust. Book nominations are due by 16 June 2000.
