Thanks to Regina Bento and Kathy Powers, who ran for Program Chair-Elect
of the Academy of Management�s Management Education & Development Division (MED)
with which MG-ED-DV is affiliated. Both were outstanding
candidates. The election is now concluded and we extend our congratulations to
Regina Bento, who has been elected the new Program Chair-Elect. Elena
Antonacopoulou will pass her the torch at the August Academy conference in
Toronto.
Thanks also to Steve Armstrong, Marty Hornyak, and David Morgan, the three
outstanding candidates who ran for the one year term for the MED seat on the
Academy Council to succeed Bill Ferris. Congratulations to Marty Hornyak, who
has been elected. His duties will also begin at the August Academy conference in
Toronto.
Anyone who is interested in running for these two positions next year or
for any other MED position this year or next, please contact me at
bferris@wnec.edu. I will keep a list of names for this year�s Committee for the
election to be held in Toronto, and for the one to be headed by Charlie Wankel
