The Academy of Management Management Education and Development Division is
interested in NEW BLOOD. Wouldn't you sleep better at night if you knew
that you were providing PROFESSIONAL INVOLVEMENT as an OFFICER of the
premier scholarly society in our discipline. Your dean, your tenure and
promotion committee, your university newsletter, your colleagues--they all
would be wowed. As they say in Transylvania: igen!, term�szetesen!,
hogyne!, felt�tlen�l! If you are interesting in having the MED Division
Nominating Committee put your name forward for officer posts in one the
following areas: Membership, Practitioner Liaison, Research and Awards,
Nominating Committee--all you need to do is email your name and affiliation

ward off ill fortune after you put you name in the ring. The voting will
occur at the MED Division's business meeting on Tuesday, August 10th, at the
Academy meeting. You can put your name in then too!
ARE YOU FROM OUTSIDE THE USA? OR, ARE YOU WEB-SAVVY? CASE STUDIES YOUR
THING? We also have appointive posts. These will be appointed by our
Division Chair for 1999-2000 (who is currently Chair-Elect, wouldn't you
know!). Would you like to be a liaison to your country or continent of the
MED Division? Are you interested in being the website manager of our
division? Are you interested in Chairing a committee on teaching use case
studies? Is there a topical area of Management Education or Management
Development that you think a position might not exist but SHOULD exist--if
you're the right person and its a great idea for a job, it can be arranged.
