Howdy All,
Ruth Axelrod, asked for 'research' indicating people have used/incorporated
the learning's from the "Prisoner's Dilemma" experience, after the game. I
know of none; however, I have some personal 'anecdotal' evidence. About 10
years ago there were people who changed behaviors as a result of the
exercise, i.e. were more cooperative in group decision making, negotiated
for collaboration more, referenced 'the Prisoners' in real (non-training)
work discussions.
How long the change lasted and whether or not there were other variables
involved in their motivation I do not know.
