    John,

    we use a package called simulate. you can download a demo at
    http://www.simul8.com

    They have educational licences, but I am not sure about the details. In any
    case, the package is top quality, yet very affordable.

    Does anyone know of a queue simulation package suitable for teaching an
    introductory course in Operations Management? Preferences would be:
    - Graphical output;
    - Dynamic output
    - Easy to make comparisons; eg between single or multiple queues;
    - Downloadable without restriction

    Is this asking for too much?
