I am designing a course on Virtual Teams to be taught to graduate management
students at WPI in the summer. I am in the process now of finding relevant
articles and books and looking for advice, syllabi, etc. from other people who
may have taught such a course. If anyone has had experience teaching (or
    taking
such) a course, I would appreciate any input you would be willing to offer.
    My
plan is to teach this course entirely via the Web.

I have no experience with such a course but I did participate in an early
web-based experiment having to do with virtual teams. I didn't stay the
course but others did. It was called the e-team at the time and Professor
John S. Edwards (who might be on this list) subsequently wrote it all up in
a paper that I believe was published. I am copying him on this email just
    in case.

I have taught Graduate courses to students in Engineering Management. I have
used the following 2 recent volume text books published by PRENTICE HALL for
teaching the following two related course.
    1. The first Course was designed to teach the theory and concepts of
Creating Virtual Team Organization and How to Organize Cooperative Teams for
    Concurrent Product Development.
    2. The second course was to teach concepts on how to apply the Virtual Team
Organization in the context of Integrated Product Development.
