ANNOUNCING A NEW INTERNET RESOURCE TO SUPPORT RESEARCH INTO
THE USE OF CASE STUDY METHOD IN BUSINESS AND MANAGEMENT
    EDUCATION

    Please forgive cross-postings

A new internet-based network has been set up to support
research into the case study method in business and
management education. The European Case Clearing House
(ECCH) and the Foundation for Management Education (FME)
have recently funded a number of research projects to
explore issues connected with case-based teaching and
learning, and the new email network is intended to provide
a resource for business researchers and teachers with
interests in the case method in general, and in these
    projects in particular.

It is anticipated that the email network may be used in a
    number of ways, including:

? Acting for a forum for scholarly debate and discussion,
and for exchanging information about a topic or issue
    concerning case-based teaching and learning

? Circulating relevant conference, workshop, or seminar
information, or information as to forthcoming books,
articles, project reports or other publications

? Circulating calls for papers for conferences, seminars or
    edited books

? Circulating bibliographies and other scholarly documents
    to subscribers

? Acting as a forum for brief book and journal reviews

The network?s web page will be at:
    http://www.mailbase.ac.uk/lists/case-teaching/

Messages to the network will be archived and will be
available in a fully searchable form at this site. It is
anticipated that project reports and bibliographies, etc.,
will be made available on the network over the lifetime of
    the projects.

To join the network, or to receive further information,
please email Charles Booth, the network administrator, on
Charles.Booth@uwe.ac.uk or contact him as detailed below.

Alternatively, you may subscribe directly yourself by
emailing (leaving the subject line blank):

    mailbase@mailbase.ac.uk

    with the message:

    join case-teaching firstname lastname
    stop

substituting your own names for firstname and lastname.
