Spring 99 I started teaching "NGO Management" in the Dept of Business
Admin at Boğaziçi University (AD 480: Special Topics in Management,
NGO Management). I am giving the same course with the same name this
semester... I succeeded in convincing the Dept to assign a new course
number to the course; starting Spring 2000 the name will be
"AD 481: Fundamentals of NGO Management"...
Spring 99, the class developed "performance audit methodology for NGOs"; this semester we are working on developing the methodology for "Excellence in NGO Management Award" for Turkish Quality Association which administers the EFQM Quality Award for for-profit companies and is planning to introduce the NGO award
in 2001...
I just wanted to share with you recent developments in Turkey and at Bogazici...
