As the listmaster of mg-ed-dv I am aware that attachments wreak havoc on the
digests. Also, I am wary about the possibility of viruses being included in
attachments--some participants have inadequate anti-virus software.
Therefore, I request that NO ATTACHMENTS BE POSTED TO THE LIST. Rather
posting urls, putting the material succinctly in the text or offering to
mail more information or documents to interested parties is preferred.
Also, sending your messages in PLAIN TEXT rather than RICH TEXT or HTML is
desirable:
As your cyberfriend, I recommend that you all get something like Norton
Antivirus 2000 software--be cutting-edge where it counts!

As for the acrimonious exchange. Yikes! I think bringing off-list
rancorous comments on-list is not helpful. I appreciate the helpful
comments of always insightful Larry Pate of MED's Service Learning Committee
in that "discussion". Also, I enjoyed Bevis' urbane comments. Bevis
England certainly makes one want to visit New Zealand. Sometimes I wish I
could decree that everyone get Outlook 2000 and be done with technological
incompatibilities. Gadzooks!
You are always invited to communicate any concerns about anything that
upsets you related to mg-ed-dv and its discourse to me at
