I dial in remotely and I have no problems downloading emails with
    attachments......

....so stop whinging and let's continue making this an extremely useful and
    suitably detailed distribution...

Looking forward to lots of detailed, stimulating emails with large documents
    attached and previous threads present.

Personnally I would like to talk about Corporate Social Responsibility/Corporate
Citizenship. I am a consultant with one of the big five and
am on a personal crusade to bring this arena to the top of our agenda.....I'm
hitting brick walls...as our leadership do not see this
as an immediate priority...concentrating on e-everything...

I'd like to get a feel for people's experience in this sphere - is this an issue
    for today's managers/CEOs? We're looking at developing
business simulation to train some of our client's Line Managers...

    Any comments/ideas/suggestions????

I agree with Alice. I belong to sever lists and have never experienced any
negative reaction for posting a message with an attachment. I was really
surprised that I got "criticized" immediately by someone on this list for
including an attachment, as if I had done something wrong.

I'm not a fan of _rules_ and I can think of reasons that this would not
work well and lead to acrimony.

We could encourage people to avoid attachments.

_You_ could have a personal rule.
Delete any mail that arrives with attachments.
