I wouldn't feel too bad. You're making a controversial move gave
all of these contributory people an opportunity to express their
opinion and get their 15 minutes of fame and community
participation, without a lot of risk for themselves.
It's kind of like getting to say something about Monica Lewinsky or
OJ Simpson- no one's gonna question you too closely about
your own credentials or background statistics for discussing the
topic at hand....they all read the same rags at the checkout
counter.... you can be really lazy and still look well-informed and in
the flow of what's happening.
