Here's my tuppence worth.
If it irritates you so much that people don't follow netiquette then just
unsubscribe or delete them. Why waste time sending in a time wasting
message that says nothing more useful than "I am pissed off that people who
don't know better are wasting my time"? Don't waste your and my time any
more - just hit the delete and move on.
And I know that this is even more cloggage for your mail boxes. Sorry - I
was just moved to speak by the paternalistic arrogance.
