Jim, I work for Northeast Utilities in Connecticut. We have been using a
program from Blessing/White called "Technical Leadership" for the last two
years. It is a good program for new and inexperienced technical managers.
The program was built around research on what is needed to motivate
technical people. (No,it's not that much different from motivating the rest
of us but there are some differences.) Blessing/White can provide
