Thanks to Fred Nickols for his resolutions about participating in
discussions like this.
By the time I joined this list I considered myself a seasoned listserv
participant. I came to some conclusions:
Flaming happens. Ride it out.
People leave. Don't beg them to stay.
Lists fold. Just move on.
Life moves on. Lists have great potential for teaching me how I feel and
think. I also have the opportunity to examine my behavior on the lists.
Often, I react more quickly on a list than I do in person or on the
phone. I wonder why?
