Subject: MED AOM TORONTO 2000 - SYMPOSIA SUBMISSIONS - "Evaluation
    Issues in MED"

CALL FOR SYMPOSIA SUBMISSIONS on Evaluation Issues in Management
Education and/or Management Development -- MED - AOM Meetings in Toronto:
    August 4-9, 2000

    Dear Colleagues,

I would like to invite you to submit ideas related to "Evaluation in
Management Education and/or Management Development" for the MED-AOM Meetings
    in Toronto 2000.

Over the past several years we have witnessed considerable change in
management education throughout the world. In today's fast moving economy,
one new wrinkle is the timeliness of the new educational inputs relative to
the state of the art and the time to complete programmatic requirements. A
variety of learning and development formats are being used, including
distance learning and virtual mentoring. Organizational learning itself may
be a useful framework for assessing such learning and development programs.
The issue of evaluation and assessment of management education and/or
development is always timely for MED. With this in mind, you are encouraged
to submit ideas related to this topic by January 7, 2000.

Please visit the following sites for further information.

The Academy of Management's home page is at: http://www.aom.pace.edu/
