Dr. Shahid Yamin <
syamin@LUCY.CC.SWIN.EDU.AU> is the Academy of Management,
Management Education and Development Division's Liaison to the AOM
Technology and Innovation Management Division (TIM). As such he is
soliciting ideas (perhaps two page descriptions) for participation in
symposium (panel) presentations at the Academy's August 2000 meeting in
Toronto. He will evaluate the ideas sent to him and select and place the
best ones in symposium proposal submissions that he will chair. This will
be submitted both to the MED and TIM divisions program chairs for review.
If you are interested, you should send him your ideas as early as possible
so that he can get the symposia submissions in by the January 7th deadline.

I would like to invite you to submit ideas related to teaching TIM
Issues in Management Education or/and Management Development for the
MED-AoM Meetings in Toronto 2000. The effectiveness of Technology
and Innovation management may often result in sustainable
competitive advantage and often is necessary for the survival of many
organisations. Thus, teaching related issues in this discipline is
gaining increasing importance. The focus of this symposium is to
