About the workshop:
Teaching reflexivity in management practice faces barriers of explication and emotion: barriers of explication, since reflexivity is a complex concept which has been characterized in a number of different ways; and barriers of emotion, since engaging with the concept fully requires critical reflection on our own experiences and values, and that is difficult to achieve in a dispassionate manner. This workshop seeks to build a collective understanding of how to surmount these barriers, through sharing ideas about how to explain the concept, develop coaching approaches and recognize formative evaluation signals.
