Dear Prof. Giritli,
I don't have the instrument developed by Gudykunst. However, I read about an alternative instrument developed by a research group at the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
The reference is as follows: "Developing a parsimonious measure of high-low context communication style" (2003) by Kim, Polyorat & Alden in European Advances in Consumer Research, vol.6:168-174. There instrument is as the title of the article indicates supposed to be shorter and easier to administer. This could be important for your student's research focusing on construction workers.
Hopefully this information helps.
Best,

One of my graduate students aims to explore and compare the communication behavior styles of construction personnel. In this connection, we are interested in gaining access to the communication style scale developed by Gudykunst.
Since Gudykunst died in 2005 , we tried to contact with Ting Toomey. In spite of many attempts in the past to contact her we still have not received any reply from her. This is the reason why we're asking for your help in this matter.
Your prompt attention will be greatly appreciated
