    Informing Science & IT Education:
    A Conference in Four Parts

    June 18-19 InSITE:Connect consists of study in various locations on the
    transmission of information across time and across space. Connect focuses
    on the interrelationship between context (historical forces and culture) and
    information and knowledge transfer.

    June 20-23 InSITE:Inform solicits papers in any area that explores issues in
    effectively and efficiently informing clients through IT (information
    technology).

    June 20-23 InSITE:TeachIT focuses on research topics related to teaching
    IT, including curricular issues, capstone courses, pedagogy, and emerging
    topics in IT.

    June 20-23 InSITE:TeLE focuses on research topics related to using IT to
    teach. For example, these topics include e-Learning, m-Learning, making
    classroom teaching more effective, and distance learning.

    You can attend all or just part of the conference.

    The language of the conference is English. All papers will be double-blind
    reviewed by six or more reviewers. At least one reviewer will be external to
    the conference. All papers must be original, unpublished, and not currently
    under review by any other publication or conference. By submitting the
    manuscript for consideration, authors stipulate that they hold the copyright
    to the manuscript and, upon acceptance, transfer it to the Informing Science
    Institute. Authors also agree to assume all liability in case of copyright
    dispute.

    Highly rated papers will be fast-tracked for publication in an Informing
    Science Institute journal (see http://InformingScience.org). All accepted
    papers will be published in the conference proceedings.

    Following are the specific requirements for each type of submission:

    Research Papers should be submitted as complete papers (8-25 pages). Include
    a description of the context of use, the clients involved, the problem, and
    the proposed solution, if appropriate. Original thinking is valued.

    Interactive Paper, Discussion Paper, and Practical Papers. Shorter papers
    (at least 8 pages) are also welcome. These let you share the ideas you have
    developed to date and receive constructive feedback.

    Panel Discussions. Include a detailed description of the topic and identify
    four or more panelists who have agreed to attend the conference.
