The University of Redlands School of Business is pleased to host the Western Organization and Management Teaching Conference (http://bit.ly/fHjlVY) on April 29 and 30, 2011 at the University of Redlands main campus, Redlands, CA. The themes are Learning Outcomes and Technology. This is a regional conference co-sponsored Management Education and Development Division (MED) of the Academy of Management.
We welcome professional development workshops, research papers, and essays on management education. Our submission guidelines are on the call for papers page above.
The Submission deadline is February 15, 2011.

Share best practices in the craft of teaching with colleagues in the disciplines of management and business. The twenty-first century brings challenges in the field of management education. Higher numbers of students seek college degrees each year. Government, accrediting bodies, and employers demand more effective workplace development come from. The stakeholders of public and private colleges and universities require increasing accountability and assurance of learning. Concurrently, a wider variety of tools are available to faculty which can provide more meaningful classroom experiences.
