    The Harvard Kennedy School (HKS) invites applications for the position of Director of Professional Pedagogy. The director contributes to the school's mission to deliver world class professional education by designing and delivering a variety of services for our faculty.
     
    The successful candidate will plan and facilitate several critical programs for faculty, including a two-day New Faculty Institute which focuses primarily on orienting new faculty to teaching in the unique and diverse HKS professional school environment;   a series of workshops focused on teaching with the case method; and a faculty lunch teaching seminar series. The Director will also conduct confidential one-on-one faculty coaching sessions, and will devise creative ways to engage faculty around specific strategies for strengthening classroom management, instructional design and pedagogical effectiveness.
