    Colleagues,

Why do American baby boomers fear initiating leadership alliances when they are promoted to positions involving the management of others?  Why are they so comfortable only wielding power as autocrats?  Why do they practice the model of "asshole executives" and pay lip service to servant leadership?

The new millennium generation on the average grew up enjoying a rather entitled life style.  But now, as they enter the world of work, they find bosses with whom they cannot find common ground as a basis for "engaged leadership".  Consequently, they are turning into unengaged employees.  How do we turn this climate from "my way or the highway" to the management style of the greatest generation or better?  We are beginning to lose our best and brightest young people to WTF.  What do you think?
    Cheers,
    George
