Stefan,
In addition to the interesting list that you have been pointed to, here is a couple of additions you might add to your list:
Blunt, P. and Jones, M. L. (1992) Managing Organizations in Africa. Berlin/New York, NY: Walter de Gruyter.
Jackson, T. (2004) Management and Change in Africa: A Cross-cultural Perspective. London: Routledge.
Dia, M. (1996) Africa's Management in the 1990s and Beyond. Washington, DC: The World Bank.
I dont think you will find one particular fits all 'Africa' OB/HRM text book. You might have to draw from a number of resources and will find that these will constantly need to challenged, contextualised in order to speak to the local and the many varied locations that comprise Africa. I anticipate that the students will have to constantly negotiate 'cross cultural issues' too. When it comes to cases, an interesting example is the approach taken by Wits Business School in South Africa who have a dedicated case study centre:

Best of luck and one thing is certain for sure, there is a huge gap here that needs to be filled.

Dear colleagues
I have been asked to create a master's level course on doing business in Africa and managing organizations/people in Africa. I am having trouble finding a useful textbook and would greatly appreciate if you could share the textbook and/or course syllabus you are using. I would also be grateful for any suggestions about stimulating experiential activities, cases and videos.
Many thanks in advance,
Stefan
