MED Colleagues,
The Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) and the HR Division of AOM are partnering to host the Sixth HR Teaching conference. The last conference, held in 2008 at the University of Minnesota, had over 100 HR educators in attendance. There were many different types of valuable sessions (and that's not marketing speak – I was there and found it really informative and interesting).
The 2013 conference will be held just prior to the SHRM Annual Conference and Exposition, on June 15th in Chicago. If you present at the teaching conference, your registration fee will be waived, and you will receive a discount on the SHRM conference registration. For those of you interested in HR topics, the Conference is quite a show. This year's speakers haven't been announced, but last year speakers included Condoleezza Rice, Malcolm Gladwell, Jim Collins, and Tom Brokaw, in addition to many distinguished HR professionals and educators.

To submit a proposal, you don't need a full paper, just a 5-page abstract. More information here: http://hrdiv.org/hrdivision/submission.htm
I am a member of the organizing committee, so I'd be glad to answer questions. The due date for emailed submissions is November 1, 2012.
