Hello to all of our interested and engaged research in management learning and education (RMLE
) colleagues and friends.
This is just a reminder that the RMLE
Unconference
submission deadline is today, Thursday, December 20, and we'd love to have a submission from you. As long as it is still December 20 somewhere in the world, it's not too late to submit!
Our focus at the unconference
is research; if you are engaged in any current research projects or are thinking about starting research in the broadly defined domain of management learning and education (e.g., training and development, communication, diversity, entrepreneurship, knowledge generation, retention, learning styles, learning processes, leadership, motivation, technology and technological applications - there are too many subsets to list!), then we would love to have you there. We are flying out Ken Brown (Editor of AMLE
) from the US and I will be in Queensland for the day (as will be a number of our AMLE
and JME
board members) so we'd love to have a great group of interested and engaged colleagues there to work with us.
The submission is designed to be very short and easy to write for anyone who is interested in management learning and education. It should not take long at all. Basically, it is for us to get an idea about what questions, issues, and concerns people are going to bring to the table at the unconference
.
The link to the unconference
website can be seen at:
www.bond.edu.au/leap
(see the link at the top of the page to the RMLE
Unconference
and once there you'll find the call for contributors on the right side of the page).
We'll hope to see submissions from as many of you as can make it to the unconference at Bond University on Australia's Gold Coast on Friday, February 1.
All the best.
Cheers,
Jon Billsberry
(& Amy Kenworthy
, Ken Brown, and George Hrivnak
- my (un)partners in unconference
crime)
