  • 1.  Communication Measure

    Dear All,
    We're in the process of designing a new project proposal which aims to examine the interaction between personality and communication style in relation to choice of conflict management behavior for workplace conflict within the construction industry. We have investigated  the following instruments:
    1. Big five theory
    2. Putman and Wilson's   Organizational Communication Conflict Instrument
     
    We are indecisive about communication measure. We have come across Frances P. Brew's article titles "Do culture or situational constrainys determine choice of direct or indirect styles in intercultural workplace conflicts? We would appreciate learning  how we could gain access to the instrument (similar methodology to Holtgraves) used in the article. We could not managed to contact with Frances P. Brew so far.
     
    On the other hand, we would welcome receiving your comments in relation to choice of instruments for our project.
