Can you please post this to the list serv?

    With apologies for cross-posting...

We invite you to attend this GDO-MED co-sponsored PDW entitled "The Power of words in our business school curriculum: Who gets seen and heard?" to engage with several scholarly educators on how race, gender, and ethnicity affect whose voice is heard, how conversations transpire, and students' overall development as leaders in both the curricular and co-curricular experiences of the business school curriculum.  This PDW will be held on Friday, August 1st, from 3:30 – 5:30 pm  in the Loews Philadelphia Hotel, Commonwealth A2 room.

    Session facilitators include:
    Robin Ely, Harvard Business School

    Danna Greenberg, Babson College

    Wendy Murphy, Babson College

    Tina Opie, Babson College

Shoshana Dobrow Riza, London School of Economics

We begin the PDW with 3 brief presentations that explore the complex issues associated with this topic.  We then will engage in interactive roundtable discussions as we challenge participants and facilitators alike to consider how our classrooms and our institutions can provide greater opportunity for diverse individuals to be seen and heard and to develop the skills they need to create action through their words as organizational leaders.

    Please join us,

    Danna
