LEADERSHIP POETRY COMPETITION
We would like to invite submissions to Deakin Leadership Centre's poetry competition entitled, The Art of Leadership Through Poetry.
Poems must be on the theme of leadership, but we define this concept very broadly. For example, poems may be about leaders, either living, dead, or fictitious. They can be written from the perspective of the leader or the follower. They may be a more abstract reflection on the process of leadership. Alternatively, they could reflect on the desire to be a leader, the leader's experience, the failure of leaders, or the need for leaders. Submissions may even question whether or not leadership exists or why we romanticize leaders. These are but a few suggestions and we welcome unique interpretations of the theme.
A total of AU$3,000 will be dedicated to prizes with the first prizewinner receiving AU$1,000. International submissions are welcomed. Winning poems will be published in an electronic book, edited by members of the judging panel.
