Business Innovation in the Knowledge Economy
A new event hosted by IBM, Warwick on 12th June 2002, for
Ø business, public and voluntary sector professionals who are re-defining
current practice to include the internet and new technologies
Ø public sector managers and decision makers and academics who are
evaluating and supporting innovation in the business community as the
internet and new technologies evolve
Ideas are shared across 4 themes, with 36 speakers from large and small
firms, universities, public and voluntary sector organisations, in the UK,
USA, Australia, Ireland, Cyprus, Finland and Germany. Academic and
non-academic speakers focus on issues related to
Ø Trends and developments in Customer Relationship Management
Ø Change in Financial services and impacts on risk post 9/11
Ø Public sector - working to empower change
Ø Small firms - use of the internet
In addition to the presentations, attendees can follow up their networking
on the day via special interest egroups on the West Midland Digital website,
