This seminar will be held Friday 14 June, 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. at LSE and
will involve two presentations from different perspectives.
Haridimos Tsoukas on Do we really understand tacit knowledge?.
Richard Hull on The emergence of "knowledge" as a unit of analysis in
the social sciences
Followed by a panel discussion
Haridimos Tsoukas is Professor of Organizational Theory and Behaviour at
Strathclyde University and at ALBA in Athens and is the editor of The
Oxford Handbook of Organization Theory
Richard Hull is a Lecturer in Sociology at Brunel University and is the
editor of Knowledge and Innovation in the New Service Economy and
Managing Knowledge: Critical Investigations of Work and Learning,
This is the first seminar in a series that explores the social and
economic consequences associated with the expanding organizational and
