Dear Colleagues,
Would any of you be interested in doing a collaborative research project
with Professors in France? At ESCEM "Grande Ecole" School of Business and
Management, we have more than 20 undergraduate and graduate programs mostly
in France, Greece and the Chech Republique. Many of these programs are
programs for working executives. Perhaps you have done research in the
United States or Canada and you would be interested in doing a comparitive
study in these countries or in Europe? As many of these programs are MBA
programs we have professors that are interested in research related to most
areas of business.
This year we are doing a voluntary research project in TQM "One minute
evaluation" where we will ask for the voluntary participation of professors
in more than a dozen different business degree programs. The main idea is
that during the courses the professors will give the students the
opportunity to give an anonymous feedback after a few lessons. Two simple
questions will be asked, "What hindered your learning in this course"? "What
has helped your learning in this course?" In this way, the instructor will
be able to propose possible solutions to the students before the course
ends. We have found that most of our professors and students would prefer
an assessment before a course ends, so that they can profit from the
changes. If you would be interested in doing a collaborative research in
this area and you have some experience in how the data could best be
exploited, then I would love to here from you.
As ESCEM is extremely oriented towards Europe and International, the
majority of our professors would like to do collaborative research with
international partners for top management journals. Please contact me, if
you are interested in doing research together with us.
Sincerely,
Mike Hanson
