For those interested in tenure-tract teaching positions, there are
three openings at Cal Poly Pomona for Fall of 2003: OB/Management,
Human Resources, and Business/Managerial Communication. The 17-person
department is looking for Ph.D. or D.B.A. prior to appointment, but
may hire at Assistant or Associate levels. Cal Poly Pomona, 30 miles
east of L.A. is part of the Cal State System with a well recognized
and innovative business curriculum. The position involves teaching; a
passionate commitment to students is expected. Cal Poly values
consulting and practitioner involvement as well as traditional
research and instructional development. There's an application
deadline coming in October of this year, though the positions will
