Behavioral Simulations and Interactive Exercises for International
Management:
Experience the New, Discuss the Old, Build your Portfolio
Join us to explore two behavioral simulations and learn by doing. As we
know, the use of
simulations is generally "spread" through informal networks. To teach a
new
simulation requires learning, both tacit and behavioral, much of which
cannot
be easily transmitted explicitly (e.g., through a manual). Adoption
diffusion is thus quite slow, relative to other teaching methods.
Behavioral Simulations is an interactive session which will help you
learn
about these teaching materials and give you the opportunity to become
part of
a broader informal network through which we can spread news of future
interactive materials more quickly.
The sessions are from 8:30-12:00 on both Sat and Sun. On Saturday we'll
explore Randomia Balloon Factory and on Sunday, Ecotonus. You may
attend
either or both sessions.
Registration: Because of the nature of the simulations, registration is
appreciated. There is no cost for either of these sessions. Please
