Coming to the Academy of Management Meetings in August?

The International Management Division Invites You For A Different Way to
    Begin Your Academy.....

If you are looking for a different, fun-filled, and beautiful way to
begin your Academy of Management Conference this year, join us for our
White Water Rafting Trip on Friday, August 9th!

Join us in a half-day river trip down beautiful Arkansas River through
the Big Horn Canyon. This trip is appropriate for everyone even if you
have never rafted before. It contains class 1-3 whitewater and is a
spectacular ride! The scenery is beautiful, the water the refreshing,
and think of the networking opportunities as you paddle the rapids
    together!

We will depart from the Adams Mark Hotel in downtown Denver and travel
by charter bus to Canyon City where we will meet our professional guides
    for the trip.

The bus will depart at 8:00 AM (prompt) and return at approximately 5:30
    PM.

The cost of the trip is $80, including round-trip transportation,
equipment, professional guides, and gratuity. Lunch is available for an
    additional $7.00.

This trip is open to IM Division members and their spouses/significant
others only, so if you arent a member use this as the perfect excuse
to become an IM Division member! (it's only $9!).

Bring your swimsuit, an old pair of tennis shoes or sports sandals with
ankle strap (or rent special wet suit booties for $4.00 on site).
Everyone will be required to wear a life jacket (life jackets that
accommodate up to a 52 inch chest will be provided).

You must contact Schon Beechler, IM Division PDW Chair, at
SLB7@COLUMBIA.EDU by August 2nd there are a limited number of spots
available and reservations will be taken on a first-come, first-served
    basis.
