I have taken over direction of a BUSINESS ETHICS discussion forum that I
have been a member of for many years. In the mid-nineties, sort of
refracting against the name of the Organizational Behavior Teaching
Society a group of academics formed the Business Ethics Teaching
Society, which sponsored one F2F event and melted away. However, an
associated discussion BETS-L run for a time by Bill Sodeman
http://www.sodeman.com/bill/ and then set adrift without a helmsperson
survived with a core of members. I see this forum as a place where
interdisciplinary discussions of business ethics TEACHING might emerge.
Now is a particularly important time for us all to emphasize business
ethics in our teaching of all courses.
