As there is growing demand for its courses, the Griffith University
Graduate School of Management (GSM) is seeking to make four appointments
at
either Lecturer or Senior Lecturer level one each in the areas of:
Business
Economics, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, and Strategic
Management. Knowledge in other areas that are taught in the core of
our
MBA, MTM and Entrepreneurship and Venture Development programs could be
an
advantage. Applicants should have appropriate qualifications and
experience, a record of achievement in research, and effectiveness in
teaching.
The Graduate School is responsible for the: PhD; Master of Technology
Management (MTM); Master of Business Administration (International);
Master
of Business Administration (MBA); the Graduate Diploma of Business
Administration; the Graduate Certificate of Business Administration; as
well as other courses for post-graduate students. These courses draw on
a
range of academic disciplines especially from the social sciences. The
GSM
also offers research degrees and aims to facilitate research and
continuing
education. The successful candidates would be expected to contribute
primarily to these or related courses and perhaps also to lead the
development of other Graduate School initiatives, for example:
research
projects; seminars; short courses; recruitment of students;
consulting
and other activities.
The positions could have responsibilities at either the Brisbane and/or
Gold Coast campuses, but would primarily be based at either one or other
of
these. Appointments could be either on a full-time or fractional basis.
Conditions e.g. Annual Salary:
Lecturer: AUD$52,921 to AUD$62,846 per annum (Salary package including
17%
employer superannuation contribution: AUD$61,919 to AUD$73,530 per
annum)
Senior Lecturer - AUD$64,829 to AUD$74,754 per annum (Salary package
including 17% employer superannuation contribution: AUD$75,850 to
AUD$87,462 per annum)
