A very high-powered group that I suggest you recommend to your MBA
students and perhaps senior undergraduate students in the New York metro
area (or willing to travel to Manhattan for events at least) is the
Central European Business Association. I have been a member for several
years and consider it a secret of success for students from Poland,
Czech Republic, Hungary, and other of the post-communist European
nations. The networking events are very effective.

----------Their latest notice-------------
The Board of Directors of the Central European Business Association
cordially invites you to the August Networking Event. This gathering is
the continuation of our monthly networking meetings, which are scheduled
for the last Thursday of each month.
Networking events have become more and more successful as shown by the
number of members, new faces that attend and the positive
recommendations, which we hear.
We hope that you will set aside some time in your schedule to meet with
us each month. The success of these events - and ultimately CEBA -
depends on your participation and interest.
At each event we are becoming more familiar with each other as well as
with the companies that we represent. We hope that you will utilize
these events not only to develop friendships but also to exchange
valuable company and industry information.
During the August event we hope to:
Discuss CEBA's participation in the upcoming session "Studia 4U"
Talk about details of the Team Building Exercise, which will take place
at the Delaware Water Gap, during September 6th - 8th. This 2 night,
3-day event features accommodations, rafting and paint ball games
(please refer to our website:
www.centraleurope.org for itinerary and
pricing). At the meeting there will be an opportunity to make payments
toward these event as well as update your membership status
