LEARNING LAB DENMARK was established in 2001 by the Danish
government, as an ambitious attempt to create an untraditional
research and development center. The mission is to do cutting-edge
research in the areas of learning, knowledge creation and competence
development. Learning Lab Denmark will work experimentally,
cross-disciplinarily and internationally. The specific research-based
experiments are organized under a number of research consortia. Here,
researchers from various disciplines and representatives from various
sectors interact and cooperate to generate experimental development
activities. Each consortium has a Consortium Director to oversee the
processes and undertake the contact with the core of Learning Lab

THE CREATIVE ALLIANCE is established as a research consortium under
Learning Lab Denmark - as a result of two Danish ministerial white
papers (2000) commissioned by The Ministry of Culture and The
Ministry of Trade and Industry. Our vision is to build a
"learning-bridge" between the all-to-often separated worlds of art
and business to enable knowledge and competence selection and
diffusion. Our overall mission is to explore and accentuate the
learning potentials of the interplay between art and business! We aim
to do this by creating new paths of research in close dialogue with
experimental practice. Read more at
