  • 1.  Business Game simulation in a service context

    I would appreciate any information / lead which may help me to find a
    business game simulation which replicates a service (non-manufacturing)
    context. I am planning to use such a game simulation in a strategy course.

    A good service industry simulation is the Cornell
    Hotel and Restaurant Management Simulation. It covers
    management, marketing, HR management, labour problems,
    etc. It uses a hotel catering department so most
    managers are at least familiar as users. Also works
    with upper-level students in hospitality programmes.
    Non-hospitality students would require preparatory

    Please check with the Cornell University School of Hotel Administration -
    they have some simulations for use in classroom settings.
