Due to growth in our core programs (undergraduate and graduate) and the
creation of a new Global MBA program, the Sawyer School of Management at
Suffolk University (Boston) is seeking to fill tenure track positions in
the management department with a specialty in international business.

The Sawyer School of Management, one of three colleges within Suffolk
University, offers undergraduate and graduate programs in business and
public management. We have campuses in Boston, Madrid (Spain) and Dakar
(Senegal). We also have collaborative arrangements with universities in
China and Turkey, among others. We have about 3000 students and 72
faculty that is very diverse representing over 100 countries. Please
visit our web site at www.suffolk.edu for more information.

We are seeking to fill one (possibly two) tenure track positions.
Candidates with a Ph.D. in international business or in strategic
management with significant interest in international business are
encouraged to apply. We seek individuals with expertise gained either
through research, consulting, and/or personal job experience. Additional
interests or expertise/experience in the domains of finance and/or
marketing would be attractive. Rank is open so both junior and senior
    candidates are invited to apply.

We highly value teaching and research equally. Teaching needs that we
seek to fill include a survey course in international business
(graduate), international strategy courses (graduate) and strategic
management (both undergraduate and undergraduate) Over time we expect
that there will be other opportunities to create and deliver courses at
both the graduate and undergraduate level (including international
travel seminars). Any area of research within the framework of
international business is acceptable to us. Publications in leading
refereed journals are a requirement for tenure.

In addition to our expectations about contributions in the domains of
teaching and research, we are looking for candidates that promise to be
community-minded and participate in the future leadership of the Sawyer
    School of Management.

Interested applicants should send (preferably via regular mail) a
current Curriculum Vita, and other materials that you believe support
your application. Please send applications to Suzyn Ornstein,

University, 8 Ashburton Place, Boston, MA 02108-2770. We intend to move
