OII Summer Doctoral Programme
22nd July - 9th August 2003, Oxford
The Oxford Internet Institute will be holding a Summer Programme for
doctoral students in 2003. Running from 22nd July to the 9th August in
Oxford, UK, this Programme is intended to bring together doctoral students
in the field of Internet Studies from around the world to study with leading
academics and to share and discuss their own research.
The Programme will be designed both to stretch the thinking of participants
on a range of issues central to the work of the Institute through seminars
and lectures, and also to provide valuable advice and support for students'
own research. Between twenty and thirty places will be available, and fees
will be charged to cover tuition and accommodation costs. The programme will
be open to students just embarking on their doctoral research as well as
those with more experience.
Further details of the Programme and application procedures will be posted
here in the New Year. In the meanwhile please register your interest
(whether as a student or as a lecturer) by e-mailing
programs.assistant@oii.ox.ac.uk so that we can contact you when more
information is available.
