    Charlie,
Isn't the discussion on offshoring taking us far off from MED's domain?
May be relevant in some other forum.

    Gopi,
Hi! I started the discussion by recommending an article on this
for students. It is true that we go from "management education and
development" into discussing management issues at times. I like to see
discussion in our forum and do not think it beyond the use of management
    instructors.
    Best regards,
    Charlie

Hi to all: I am finding the discussion very relevant to this listserve.
I teach change management and have two sections of IT students. I've
brought this discussion into class as this directly impacts their
futures. It also is very relevant to any discussion about change
management as issues of outsourcing, restructuring, etc are part of the
decision process. It's helping them understand the wider implications
of decisions such as these. So, I'm grateful for the original post and
the ensuing debate. It's been very helpful to see the various
    perspectives.

    Cheers.
